Rooms for Windows Phone 8 are an invitation-only place where you can share a private calendar, group chat, and more.

Here’s how to set up a Room:
In the People Hub, on the Together screen, tap the plus sign (+), then tap Room.
Start by giving your Room a name, then tap Save. This will create your Room.
Tap the plus sign (+) to invite someone to your room. They’ll receive an invitation via text message.
Once they accept your invitation, you’ll both have access to a private calendar, photos, notes, and more.
That’s it! Rooms work best with Windows Phone 8, but you can add friends or family with other types of phones to share the calendar.
